What to expect back

An honest answer, not a fast one. Corrections get priority and usually go live within a day or two of being checked, because a wrong price or a wrong pier is the kind of error that costs somebody their one morning on the water. General questions take longer, and some of them get answered by adding a paragraph to a guide rather than by return email, which helps the next person asking the same thing. We do not send a newsletter, we do not follow up to sell you anything, and we do not pass your address anywhere.

What we cannot help with

We cannot take a booking, hold a seat, move your sailing, cancel a place or issue a refund. None of those are ours to touch. Every cruise on this site is sold and run by somebody else, and the booking lives on that operator's own listing rather than on any system of ours. To be clear, we are an independent comparison site and not the Doolin operator that trades as Cliffs of Moher Cruises at cliffsofmohercruises.ie.

So if the question is about a booking you have already made, the confirmation email you were sent is the fastest route. It carries your reference, the meeting instructions and a message button that reaches the people who will actually be waiting at the pier. On a same-day question that beats us every time, and when Atlantic swell or a rising wind puts a sailing in doubt, it is the only channel that can do anything about it.

Two details worth checking on that confirmation before you write to anyone. The meeting point first: the core cliff cruises leave from Doolin Pier in County Clare, but the combination and day trips start in Galway or Dublin, and the exact pier and check-in time are printed on your confirmation, so read them before you plan your day around the departure. Then the cancellation terms, which live on the listing itself rather than with us. The Doolin operators watch the sea and will call off a sailing on safety grounds; when they do, the standard outcome is a full refund or a reschedule, and the listing's own window governs a cancellation you make yourself.

Still deciding which boat? The three kinds of cruise on the homepage narrow nine listings down faster than we can by email, and the FAQ covers the season and swell questions that sit underneath most of them.
